The two pricing and interconnection regimes used in mobile communications, end-to-end pricing and segment pricing, are compared in this report. End-to-end-pricing means that a call has one end-to-end retail price. Segment pricing means that a call has separate prices for different segments, e.g. a call from a fixed to a mobile line has one price for the originating fixed segment and another, separate, price for the terminating mobile segment.
